2026 Outlook: Investing in Technology and Cybersecurity for Steady Growth

Technology investments supporting Ci-Dell’s 2026 growth and capacity

This year marks Ci-Dell’s 40th year in business ⎯ four decades of commitment to innovation and building trusted partnerships with our customers and suppliers. I’m proud to say that we’ve reached this milestone by continuously focusing on our mission to exceed expectations in quality, accuracy and timeliness.

2025 Overview

Despite a lot of market uncertainties, 2025 was a year of growth for us. We served many new customers in various industries, which included an influx of proposal requests from defense contractors. This drove us to beef up our cybersecurity measures by installing a new server, hiring a new managed service provider and performing many other steps to achieve CMMC Level 1 compliance last December.

Foreseeing the need for more domestically sourced molding, we invested in new equipment, such as the Trinks 750-ton press, which was installed in March. This new press expands our capabilities to produce a higher volume of large parts up to 55 inches long. Plus, we added robotic arms to load and unload the injection molders and automated inspection systems to monitor quality, which help control per-part pricing. Along with new machines, we hired additional skilled workers to operate those systems.

2026 Goals

This year, our goals are to seek new opportunities while mitigating risks for our customers and our company. We anticipate further growth in parts production related to higher defense spending and the proliferation of data centers.

The recent announcement about larger investments in U.S. defense will likely have a positive impact on our business, and we’re ready to take on those new projects. Continuing our CMMC compliance journey, we will be investing in higher security for our IT systems, operations and building to achieve CMMC Level 2 compliance in time for the 2027 deadline. Plus, we’ve updated our website to include both Mil-Spec and ASTMs to make the specification process easier for contractors.

Parts for electrical insulation and power distribution have always been a large part of our business. As new data centers and related grid equipment are being built, thermoset parts will be in higher demand.

Ready & Willing

We have the talent and technology in place today to handle all the growing needs for our customers, and we’re even preparing to expand our facility to accommodate higher production levels. While there are still many unknowns that will impact the future global economy, we’re uniquely positioned to continue our path of steady growth.

As we take a moment to celebrate our 40th anniversary, we’re looking forward to many more years ahead.
